Volleyball Recap: Chelsea Comes Up Short

Chelsea was the 2-0 winner over Kalamazoo Christian when they last played one another on Saturday, but their luck changed this time around. The Bulldogs took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Comets on Saturday.

Melayna Minyard paced Chelsea's offense, picking up seven kills. Minyard got some help from Lexi Cummer and her 14 assists. Minyard was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Chelsea's defeat dropped their record down to 12-5-1. As for Kalamazoo Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 8-5-3.

Chelsea didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Pennfield on the 13th. Kalamazoo Christian has also already played their next matchup (against Lakeview), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
