Football Recap: Hiawatha Falls Short Against Ranked West Carroll

Hiawatha faced West Carroll in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The matchup between the Hawks and the Thunder didn't end well, with the Hawks falling 43-26. The Hawks lost against the Thunder in their previous head to head back in September of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 54-0 score last time.

This is the second loss in a row for Hiawatha and nudges their season record down to 5-4. As for West Carroll, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season.

As of now, neither Hiawatha nor West Carroll have any future games scheduled.
