It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Green ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Notre Dame Titans 4-2. The victory was nothing new for the Bobcats as they're now sitting on four straight.

Green's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Kase McIntyre, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Quincy Merrill also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Green's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-1. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Notre Dame, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Coming up, Green will challenge Glenwood at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Notre Dame, they will welcome Symmes Valley at 5:00 p.m. on the 24th.
