Football Recap: Brunswick Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Brunswick can now relate to. They fell 32-21 to the Loch Raven Raiders on Thursday. The Railroaders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Raiders apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

Cai Perry was the offensive standout of the matchup as he rushed for 52 yards and one score, and also picked up 82 receiving yards. Those 52 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

Brunswick has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-8 record this season. As for Loch Raven, their record now sits at 4-6.

Brunswick does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Loch Raven, they will challenge Boonsboro at 7:00 p.m. on the 14th. The Warriors will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last.
