Basketball Recap: Spencer's Luck Changes for the Better on Tuesday

Spencer came into Tuesday's contest having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They were the clear victor by a 55-35 margin over the Thorp Cardinals on Tuesday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Rockets considering their 24-point performance the game before.

Spencer's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-10. As for Thorp, they are on a 31-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-16.

Spencer will be playing in front of their home fans against Greenwood at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Greenwood will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Spencer surely won't give up without a fight. Thorp has already played their next match (against Lake Holcombe), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
