Chesterton won the last time they faced Michigan City and things went their way on Thursday too. The Trojans put the hurt on the Wolves with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Trojans.

Chesterton never let Michigan City on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-23, 25-10.

Luca Bombacino paced Chesterton's offense, picking up 12 kills. Bombacino got some help from Reese Dilbeck and her 14 assists. Tenley Davis controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Chesterton's win bumped their record up to 14-3. As for Michigan City, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Chesterton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Hobart on the 13th. As for Michigan City, they will square off against Crown Point at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
