Baseball Game Preview: Jordan Beetdiggers vs. American Fork Cavemen

For the second straight game, Jordan will face off against American Fork. The Beetdiggers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Cavemen at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The last five games Jordan has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Jordan is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Utah's top teams: American Fork, who was ranked fifth at the time (Jordan was ranked 25th). The Beetdiggers came out on top in a nail-biter against the Cavemen on Tuesday, sneaking past 7-6. The game was the first time the Beetdiggers have beaten the Cavemen on their field since March 15, 2016.

DANIEL STROPE tossed a big game, tossing five innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on DALLON MOLDER, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and four RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of JAYDEN MONTOYA, who went 1-for-4 with two runs and one triple.

Jordan's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for American Fork, their loss ended a ten-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-5.
