Volleyball Game Preview: Wiseburn- Da Vinci Wolves vs. Bishop Diego Cardinals

The Wiseburn- Da Vinci Wolves will head out to challenge the Bishop Diego Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Wiseburn- Da Vinci is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They blew past Oxnard 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wolves.

The win didn't come easy: Oxnard scored at least 19 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-19, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Bishop Diego earned a 3-1 victory over Indio on Tuesday.

Bishop Diego had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 25-22, 25-11, 25-10.

Wiseburn- Da Vinci's record now sits at 17-15. As for Bishop Diego, their record is now 18-13.

Wiseburn- Da Vinci beat Bishop Diego 3-1 in their previous meeting back in September of 2022. Will the Wolves repeat their success, or do the Cardinals have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
