Basketball Recap: Memphis East Triumphs

Memphis East posted their closest win since February 4th on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Booker T. Washington Warriors 66-64. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mustangs.

Memphis East's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Booker T. Washington, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coming up, Memphis East will be taking part in a tournament against Madison Central at 2:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Booker T. Washington, they will square off against Dyersburg on Wednesday.
