KIPP Legacy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They lost 4-0 to the Southwestern Spartans on Friday.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Southwestern, bringing their record up to 6-1.

Coming up, KIPP Legacy is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will take on Eastern Greene at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Southwestern, they will face off against Greensburg at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Southwestern's defense better be ready for this one: Greensburg have averaged an impressive 3.6 goals per game this season.
