Basketball Game Preview: Vista PEAK Prep Bison vs. Denver East Angels

The Vista PEAK Prep Bison will head out to square off against the Denver East Angels at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Vista PEAK Prep is headed into the matchup having just posted their biggest win since December 21, 2024 on Friday. They breezed by Denver South to the tune of 78-42. The Bison pushed the score to 67-30 by the end of the third, a deficit the Ravens cut but never quite recovered from.

Meanwhile, Denver East entered their tilt with Northfield on Wednesday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They took down the Nighthawks 80-63.

Vista PEAK Prep's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-9. As for Denver East, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Vista PEAK Prep came up short against Denver East in their previous meeting two weeks ago, falling 68-59. Can Vista PEAK Prep avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
