Basketball Game Preview: Bell City Bruins vs. Oak Hill Rams

The Bell City Bruins will take on the Oak Hill Rams on Monday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Bell City is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They blew past Negreet 50-30. The win was nothing new for the Bruins as they're now sitting on 13 straight.

Meanwhile, Oak Hill waltzed into their contest on Thursday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 66-44 victory.

Oak Hill's win came from a few key players Bell City will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Jodie Jowers, who dropped a double-double with 21 points and ten rebounds. Her big performance that evening made it six games in a row in which she has scored at least 17 points. Braylee Cedus was another key player, shooting 50% from the field to rack up 15 points and six boards.

Oak Hill was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. They are 30-7 when they've passed the ball that well.

Bell City pushed their record up to 25-3 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 25.1 points. As for Oak Hill, their victory bumped their record up to 30-10.

Bell City came out on top in a nail-biter against Oak Hill in their previous meeting back in November of 2016, sneaking past 52-49. Will Bell City repeat their success, or does Oak Hill have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
