Having struggled with 12 losses in a row dating back to last season, Roland finally turned things around against Okmulgee on Thursday. They blew past the Bulldogs, posting a 41-0 victory at home. The Rangers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Roland wouldn't let Okmulgee keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Roland can thank Nate Criswell and Joseph Stone for forcing both of them.
Meanwhile, Kiefer fought the good fight in their overtime match against Kingston on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They and the Redskins were almost perfectly matched up, but they suffered a 29-28 defeat.
Despite the loss, Kiefer got top-tier performance from Bradley Breland, who rushed for 119 yards and three touchdowns. That's the most rushing yards Breland has posted since back in October of 2023. Carter Calvert got in on the action as well, returning a kick for a touchdown.
Even though they lost, Kiefer was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 238 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.
Roland's win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-3. As for Kiefer, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-3.
