Volleyball Recap: Delta Beats Carbon for Their Third Straight Win

Delta had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Carbon Dinos. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Rabbits also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Delta not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Carbon between 16 and 18 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-16, 25-18.

Tayden King paced Delta's offense, picking up 13 kills. King got some help from Kambri Mecham and her 34 assists. Mecham was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Delta's win bumped their record up to 16-5. As for Carbon, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 13 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Delta will take on Canyon View at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Carbon, they will host North Sanpete at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
