Flag Football Recap: Valor Christian Falls Short Against Ranked Arvada West + How To Watch

Valor Christian faced Arvada West in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Eagles fell 33-21 to the Wildcats. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Although Valor Christian took the loss, they still got scores from Grace Marino, Faith Prinzo, and Brynn Hammill.

Even if they lost, Valor Christian's defensive line still kept up the pressure with four sacks. Marino was especially locked on to Arvada West's QB and sacked her twice.

Valor Christian's loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Arvada West, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-2.

Valor Christian will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on The Classical Academy at 6:00 p.m. on the 9th. As for Arvada West, they will head out to challenge Regis Groff at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
