Baseball Recap: Arkoma Takes a Loss

Arkoma came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Webbers Falls Warriors, falling 19-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-4 back in March.

Arkoma has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season. As for Webbers Falls, their win bumped their record up to 12-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Arkoma will host Bokoshe at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.5 runs per game on average), something the Mustangs will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Webbers Falls, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Keota at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lions have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.11 runs per game on average), something the Warriors will no doubt try to take advantage of.
