Basketball Recap: Tyler Tsinnie's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Tuba City over Monument Valley

Tuba City suffered their biggest defeat since December 3, 2024 on Tuesday. They came up short against the Monument Valley Mustangs, falling 67-46. The Warriors were down 48-28 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Tuba City's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tyler Tsinnie, who posted 13 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Deiondre Whiterock, who earned 11 points.

Tuba City's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Monument Valley, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-13.

Tuba City has already played their next contest, a 65-60 win against Window Rock on the 30th. As for Monument Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 70-41 loss against Page on the 30th.
