Soccer Recap: Piketon Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Piketon was not quite South Point's equal in the second half on Thursday. They came up short against the Pointers, falling 5-1. Piketon's defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it five in a row.

Their goal came courtesy of Kyler Crowson, who's now up to eight this season.

Piketon's loss dropped their record down to 2-15-1. As for South Point, with the win, they broke their five-match losing streak and moved their record to 6-11-1.

Piketon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for South Point, they will face off against Portsmouth at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
