Basketball Recap: Summit View West Comes Up Short

Summit View West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 62-28 loss at the hands of the Compton Early College Rising Phoenix. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 50-27 last Wednesday.

Summit View West's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Compton Early College, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 8-8 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Summit View West will take on Animo City of Champions on Tuesday. Compton Early College has already played their next game (against Environmental Charter), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
