Basketball Preview: Pittsfield Panthers vs. Sunapee Lakers
After two games on the road, Pittsfield is heading back home. They will take on the Sunapee Lakers at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.
Pittsfield fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against the Rams on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 63-62 to the Rams. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.

Meanwhile, Sunapee came up short against the on Thursday and fell 55-42. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Sunapee in their matchups with the : they've now lost five in a row.
Pittsfield dropped their record down to 1-14 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Sunapee, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost 12 of their last 13 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season.
