Football Game Preview: Indian Land Warriors vs. T.L. Hanna Yellow Jackets

The Indian Land Warriors will head out on the road to take on the T.L. Hanna Yellow Jackets at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Indian Land is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They blew past Hillcrest 40-10. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Warriors' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina football rankings (they are ranked seventh, while the Rams are ranked 40th).

Indian Land found their leader in sophomore Matt Kucia, who threw for 245 yards and two TDs while completing 75% of his passes.

Meanwhile, T.L. Hanna entered their tilt with Greenville on Friday with nine consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with ten. They blew past the Red Raiders 38-14. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 24-0.

T.L. Hanna's win came from a few key players Indian Land will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Brock Cole, who rushed for 135 yards on only 11 carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 58 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. Jimmarion Boston also helped out as he racked up 110 rushing yards.

T.L. Hanna was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 488 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 264 rushing yards in five consecutive contests.

Indian Land's record is now 10-1. As for T.L. Hanna, their record now sits at an identical 10-1.
