Basketball Recap: Dysart Comes Up Short

Dysart lost against Peoria back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Dysart Demons took a 65-47 bruising from the Peoria Panthers. The Demons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Peoria's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Harmony Re, who went 7 of 14 en route to 20 points in addition to five boards and three steals. Another player making a difference was De'Miyah Petty, who posted 21 points and four steals.

Dysart's loss dropped their record down to 13-11. As for Peoria, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-5.

Dysart will take on Coronado at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Peoria, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 58-35 win against Deer Valley on the 6th.
