Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Browne). They blew past the Alhambra Lions 91-48 on Wednesday. The victory continues a trend for the Bruins in their matchups with the Lions: they've now won four in a row.

Tony Bayigamba produced another solid effort shooting 75% from beyond the arc on his way to 36 points. Thanks to that strong game, he now owns an excellent 45.2% three-point shooting accuracy. The team also got some help courtesy of Karmello Walker, who almost dropped a double-double with 18 points and nine boards.

Alhambra's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was David Dotson, who went 6-for-12 to rack up 14 points and three steals. Jyhari Watkins was another key player, shooting 56% from the field en route to 11 points in addition to eight assists and seven rebounds.

Browne's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Alhambra, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-5.

Browne wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 73-62 loss against Red Mountain on the 4th. As for Alhambra, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 61-52 defeat against Agua Fria on the 4th.
