There's no place like home for Forbes Road, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Thursday. They enjoyed a cozy 45-31 victory over Fannett Metal on Thursday. That's another feather in the cap for Forbes Road, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Forbes Road to victory, but perhaps none more so than Emma Skiles, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds. Ellie Harr was another key contributor, scoring six points along with ten rebounds.
Forbes Road has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season. As for Fannett Metal, their defeat was their 16th straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-12.
Forbes Road will take on Everett at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Everett is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games. As for Fannett Metal, Fannett Metal and Southern Fulton will face off at 6:00 p.m. on January 22nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hopefully Southern Fulton focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Thursday.
