Santa Paula had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. In a tight game that could have gone either way, they made off with a 35-34 win over the Channel Islands Raiders. Winning may never get old, but the Cardinals sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.

Angie Aguilera had another great game (as she tends to do), throwing for 258 yards and four TDs, while also rushing for 115 yards and one score on only nine carries. Natalie Herrejon also helped with two touchdowns in total.

Santa Paula's victory bumped their record up to 13-2. As for Channel Islands, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-10.

As of now, neither Santa Paula nor the Raiders have any future games scheduled.
