Baseball Recap: Kent School Comes Up Short

Kent School fell victim to Taft School and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 10-0 to the Big Red. The Lions were not able to make up for their defeat to the Big Red from their previous meeting back in May of 2025.

Kent School saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jojo Njoh-Mbengue, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Kent School's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Taft School, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Kent School will challenge rival Kingswood Oxford at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Taft School is set to square off against their familiar foe Loomis Chaffee School at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
