Dwyer lost to Vero Beach back in February of 2021, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Panthers walked away with a 61-50 victory over the Indians. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Vero Beach lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Brandon James, who went 6-for-15 to rack up 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeremiah Sanders, who shot 45% from the field on his way to 13 points.

Dwyer's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Vero Beach, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Dwyer has already played their next contest, a 65-62 loss against Saint Andrew's on the 29th. As for Vero Beach, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 60-56 defeat against Royal Palm Beach on the 29th.
