Volleyball Recap: Southeast Takes a Loss

Southeast was the 2-1 winner over Dexter when they last played one another back in September of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Lancers fell 2-0 to Dexter on Saturday.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-13.

Braelyn Sutton paced Southeast's offense, picking up three kills. Sutton got some help from Elena White and her five assists. Finally, Emma Gideon kept Southeast's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Southeast's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Dexter, they now have a winning record of 1-0-4.

Coincidentally, Southeast and Dexter will both be playing Oxford the next time they take the court. Dexter will host the Wildcats on Saturday, while the Lancers will play them later in the day, at 9:00 a.m.
