Football Recap: Unionville Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Unionville and Strath Haven squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Unionville had to settle for second. They and the Panthers were almost perfectly matched up, but they suffered a 21-20 loss. The Longhorns gained 170 more yards on the day, but it was the Panthers that made the best use of them.

Despite the defeat, Unionville saw an underclassman step up: freshman Nihal Batta rushed for 74 yards and one score.

The loss snapped Unionville's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-5 record. As for Strath Haven, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season.
