Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cottondale). They blew past the Marianna Bulldogs 17-4 on Monday. The Hornets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by seven runs or more this season.

Annelise Skipper and Chrishaunna Dawson were major factors no matter where they played. Throwing, Skipper struck out six batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off one hit. Meanwhile, Dawson tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Skipper has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 12 consecutive appearances. At bat, Skipper got on base in all five of her plate appearances with four runs and two RBI, while Dawson got on base in four of her five plate appearances with three runs, three RBI, and one triple.
