Volleyball Recap: Paige Strawser Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Bucyrus

Seneca East won the last time they faced Bucyrus and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Tigers came out on top against the Redmen by a score of 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

Seneca East had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-21, 25-19, 25-21.

Seneca East's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Paige Strawser, who had 42 assists and four digs. Those 42 assists gave Strawser a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Anniston Burroughs, who had 12 digs, three aces, and two blocks.

Seneca East was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. They are 4-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

Seneca East's win bumped their record up to 7-11. As for Bucyrus, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-12.
