Holy Family skates past Centaurus with ease

Recap: Holy Family Tigers vs. Centaurus Warriors

The Holy Family Tigers stacked a fourth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They really took it to Centaurus for the full four quarters, racking up a 63-36 win at home. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 37-17.

Holy Family's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Caleb Schott, who scored eight points along with five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabe Tafoya, who scored 14 points along with three steals.

Despite the loss, Centaurus still got an impressive performance from Sam Esposito, who scored 15 points along with two steals. Esposito has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last three times he's played.

The win makes it two in a row for Holy Family and bumps their season record up to 8-4. As for Centaurus, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-7.

Holy Family will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Longmont at 7:00 p.m. As for Centaurus, they will head out on the road to take on Mead at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mead will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive.
