Volleyball Recap: Berrien Springs Takes a Loss

Berrien Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bangor Vikings. If the Shamrocks were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Vikings when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Berrien Springs' offense was headlined by Zion Ellis and Kathryn Bergan, who picked up 11 kills apiece. They got some help from Vivienne Kittleson and her 21 assists.

Berrien Springs now has a losing record of 20-21-4. As for Bangor, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 25-5-2.

Coincidentally, Berrien Springs and Bangor will both be playing Marcellus the next time they take the court. The Vikings will host the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Shamrocks will play them later in the day, at 7:30 p.m.
