Volleyball Recap: Viburnum Takes a Loss

Viburnum was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Jefferson. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Viburnum of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Viburnum's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Jefferson, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-10-4.

Looking ahead, Viburnum will square off against Laquey at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Jefferson, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Steelville on the 20th.
