Volleyball Game Preview: Alpena Wildcats vs. Gaylord Blue Devils + How To Watch

The Alpena Wildcats will venture away from home to square off against the Gaylord Blue Devils at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Alpena came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Cadillac, falling 3-0. The Wildcats' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-19, 25-10.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Gaylord, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over Sault Area on Wednesday. Gaylord hasn't had any issues with Sault Area recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Gaylord's win bumped their record up to 3-14-1. As for Alpena, their loss dropped their record down to 11-13-2.

Everything went Alpena's way against Gaylord in their previous meeting back in September, as Alpena made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
