Basketball Recap: St. Georges Tech Takes a Loss

St. Georges Tech played a tough game on Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against the Neumann-Goretti Saints, falling 86-63. The Hawks were down 62-40 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Despite the loss, St. Georges Tech still got an impressive performance from Joshua Obiora, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and 13 boards. The matchup was Obiora's fourth in a row with at least 18 points. Ayden Davis was another key player, shooting 71% from the field on his way to 13 points.

St. Georges Tech's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Neumann-Goretti, they pushed their record up to 3-1 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

St. Georges Tech and Boys Latin will round out the year against one another at 11:45 a.m. on Sunday. Neumann-Goretti and Bishop Hendricken will round out the year against one another on Sunday.
