Soccer Game Preview: Point Pleasant vs. Buffalo + Official Tickets

The Point Pleasant Big Blacks are taking a road trip to face off against the Buffalo Bison at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Point Pleasant is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.9 goals per game this season.

Point Pleasant barely beat Parkersburg South the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Big Blacks blew past the Patriots 5-1 on Saturday. Joey Pinkerton was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, Buffalo hasn't lost a match since September 20th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Tuesday. They skirted past Man 3-2. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Buffalo were the better team in the second half.

Point Pleasant now has a winning record of 8-7-2. As for Buffalo, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-4-1 record this season.

Everything went Point Pleasant's way against Buffalo when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as Point Pleasant made off with an 8-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Big Blacks since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
