Volleyball Recap: Kimberly Takes Down West De Pere in a Playoff Battle

It's playoff time, and Kimberly had no trouble coming through when it counted. Everything went their way against the West De Pere Phantoms on Saturday as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Papermakers in their matchups with the Phantoms: they've now won six in a row.

The win didn't come easy: West De Pere scored at least 19 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-21, 25-19.

Bri Hagglund paced Kimberly's offense, picking up 15 kills. Hagglund were helped by Emma Tesch and Ava Van Hammond, who contributed 16 assists each.

Kimberly's victory bumped their record up to 31-13. As for West De Pere, with the loss, they broke their 13-match winning streak and moved their record to 30-8.

Coming up, Kimberly will challenge Waunakee at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. West De Pere does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
