Football Recap: Clements' Win Ends Six-Game Losing Streak on the Road + How To Watch

Clements's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They walked away with a 28-21 win over the Sheffield Bulldogs. The Colts pushed the score to 28-6 by the end of the third, a deficit the Bulldogs cut but never quite recovered from.

A big part of Clements' victory came down to the chemistry between Hayden Tucker and his top target Jake Fleming. Tucker rushed for 99 yards and one score on only six carries while Fleming rushed for 83 yards and one touchdown. That's the most rushing yards Tucker has posted since back in August.

Clements didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Reid Putman, Brady Turner, and Kingston Croft picked up one apiece.

Despite the loss, Sheffield still got an impressive performance from Jaylen Gangar, who rushed for 116 yards and a pair of TDs.

Clements' win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-5. As for Sheffield, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Clements didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 52-0 defeat against Mars Hill Bible on the 24th. As for Sheffield, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 60-7 loss against Colbert County on the 24th.
