Volleyball Recap: West Bloomfield Comes Up Short

West Bloomfield and St. Mary's Prep squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but West Bloomfield had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Eaglets. If the Lakers were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Eaglets when the teams met back in October of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

West Bloomfield took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-21, 25-22.

West Bloomfield's defeat dropped their record down to 18-12-2. As for St. Mary's Prep, the victory (which was their 25th in a row) raised their record to 32-6-3.

West Bloomfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Mary's Prep, they will face off against North Farmington at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Eaglets are facing the Raiders at the right time seeing as the Raiders are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
