After low-scoring totals in their previous three match, Mountain Brook brought some dynamite into their most recent contest. Their defense stepped up to hand the Huffman Vikings a 10-0 shutout on Thursday. Mountain Brook might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by three goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting Huffman from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Chase Ligon led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Mountain Brook's victory bumped their record up to 11-4-3. As for Huffman, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-12-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Mountain Brook will face off against Northridge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Northridge will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Mountain Brook surely won't give up without a fight. As for Huffman, they will take on Tarrant at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
