Softball Recap: Panguitch Takes a Loss

Panguitch lost to Milford on Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bobcats came up short against the Tigers, falling 22-1. The game marked the Bobcats' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Jaylee Litteral made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 1-for-1 with three stolen bases and one run. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 1.1 stolen bases per game.

This is the second loss in a row for Panguitch and nudges their season record down to 8-3. As for Milford, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Panguitch will square off against rival Altamont at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Milford is set to take on their familiar foe Water Canyon at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
