Football Recap: Pulaski Comes Up Short

The matchup between Pulaski and Weedsport on Saturday hardly resembled the 14-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Blue Devils were outmatched by the Wolverines and fell 62-15. The Blue Devils were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-7.

Despite the loss, Pulaski had strong showings from Ryan Pello, who rushed for 102 yards and one touchdown, and Dylan Scharoun, who picked up 76 receiving yards and one score. Pello is becoming a predictor of the Blue Devils' success: when he posts at least 80 rushing yards the team is 2-1 (and 2-4 when he doesn't).

Pulaski is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-5. As for Weedsport, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3.

As of now, neither Pulaski nor the Wolverines have any future games scheduled.
