Basketball Recap: Carlsbad Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Carlsbad lost against Orange Lutheran back in December of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Carlsbad fell 69-59 to Orange Lutheran. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Tuesday (58), Carlsbad still had to take the loss.

Orange Lutheran's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Noah Zeola, who posted 18 points. The game was Zeola's fifth in a row with at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Josh King, who put up 16 points.

Carlsbad's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Orange Lutheran, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

Looking ahead, Carlsbad will square off against Victory Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Orange Lutheran, they will challenge Corona del Mar at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
