Basketball Recap: Irving Comes Up Short

Irving was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 52-43 to the Garland Owls. If the Tigers were looking for revenge after losing 62-38 to the Owls when the teams met back in December of 2018, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Irving's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Garland, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Irving will challenge Episcopal School of Dallas at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Garland, they will take on Seagoville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
