Christian Gonzalez put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in April on Tuesday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, striking out five batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and four unearned) runs off seven hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

Gonzalez's strong effort led Clovis over Central East and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
