Football Recap: Canyon Piles Up the Points Against Hereford + How To Watch

Canyon got themselves on the board against Hereford on Friday, but Hereford never followed suit. They breezed past the Whitefaces to the tune of 41-0. Considering the Eagles have won four contests by more than 22 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Bayler Schilling had another great game (as he tends to do), picking up 188 receiving yards and three TDs. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 105.3 receiving yards per game.

Canyon didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Asher Cunningham and Breccan Crockett. Crockett got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

The win made it two in a row for Canyon and bumps their season record up to 6-3. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 6 points in those games. As for Hereford, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Looking ahead, Canyon will head out on the road to take on Randall at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hereford, they will be playing at home against West Plains at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Whitefaces will need to watch out since the Wolves have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
