Volleyball Game Preview: Timpanogos Timberwolves vs. Summit Academy Bears

The Timpanogos Timberwolves will head out to square off against the Summit Academy Bears at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Summit Academy took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Timpanogos, who comes in off a win.

Timpanogos was handed a three-set loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out Uintah 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Timberwolves have posted since September 6th.

Timpanogos was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (108-105), but they still managed to win. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-21, 16-25, 24-26, 15-13.

Meanwhile, Summit Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against Orem, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-10, 25-17.

With the victory, Timpanogos broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 6-20. As for Summit Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 4-17.

Timpanogos took their win against Summit Academy in their previous meeting two weeks ago by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Timberwolves since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
