Brookfield is 8-2 against Newton Falls since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Warriors will challenge the Tigers at 12:00 p.m. The last three games Brookfield has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Brookfield is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They fell just short of Harding by a score of 12-11 on Thursday. The Warriors have struggled against the Raiders recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Mya Jumper made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and five RBI. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season. Another player making a difference was Grace Teal, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI.

Meanwhile, Newton Falls was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 15-5 to Rootstown.

Abby Wolford was cooking despite her team's loss, firing off two home runs and three RBI while going 2-for-3.

Newton Falls' loss dropped their record down to 6-13-1. As for Brookfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-11.

Brookfield came out on top in a nail-biter against Newton Falls in their previous matchup last Monday, sneaking past 4-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
