Parker is 9-1 against Jackson-Olin since January of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Thundering Herd will take on the Mustangs in a tournament on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with six consecutive losses dating back to last season for Parker and eight for Jackson-Olin dating back to last season.

Parker is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Wenonah on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Thundering Herd took a blow against the Dragons, falling 77-44. The Thundering Herd were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-23.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 71-27, which was the final score in Jackson-Olin's tilt against Fultondale on Thursday. The Mustangs were down 61-22 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Jackson-Olin's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Parker, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.

Parker came out on top in a nail-biter against Jackson-Olin when the teams last played back in January, sneaking past 57-54. Do the Thundering Herd have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Mustangs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
